In the past, customers had to make an account with a username and password before paying for your product.
Now, you can choose whether your customers set up an account before or after checkout.
As Podia Pro Marie Drouvin points out, letting customers wait to create an account until after they’ve finished checking out could lead to increased conversions.
To change your checkout settings, go to “Settings” – “Payments” and click “Account setup.” The default setting is to have customers set up their username and password before paying, but you can change it up with just a click!
